AIP Sporting Club, commonly known as AIP SC, is a football team based in Wa, the capital of Ghana’s Upper West Region. The club competes in the regional football leagues and is dedicated to developing local talent and promoting the sport within the community.
In February 2024, Ghanaian international footballer Hafiz Wontah Konkoni made a generous donation to AIP SC, providing a set of jerseys, twenty pairs of football boots, and ten footballs to support the team’s activities. This contribution was facilitated through his brother and was received by Mr. Iddrisu Polibu, the owner and coach of AIP SC. Mr. Polibu expressed gratitude for the support, emphasizing its significance in nurturing young talents within the club
