Kalibi Sporting Club’s women’s volleyball team delivered a historic performance at the 2025 CAVB Zone 3 Club Championship in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, securing the bronze medal for Ghana—their first podium finish in the competition. The tournament, held from May 25 to June 1, 2025 at the CNOSB Martial Arts Hall, featured the region’s elite clubs, with 12 men’s and 8 women’s teams vying for continental honours.

Kalibi Volleyball Club, representing Ghana, advanced through a challenging group stage, ultimately facing ASEC Mimosas (Côte d’Ivoire) in the bronze-medal match. Their hard-fought victory not only marked Ghana’s best result in the Zone 3 Club Championship but also underscored the rapid rise of volleyball in the Upper West Region.
